Dear Members,
Principal Surveys will be arriving at your site this week. A copy is being delivered to your Lead Site Representative. A separate copy is being delivered directly to the Site Principal / Assistant Principal. Please remember that these surveys are NOT for public consumption. The copy must be kept with the Lead Site Rep - not left in the staff room/box or anywhere that is accessible by others. If you would like to see your site's results, please contact your Lead Site Rep beginning Friday. Do NOT make copies of the survey. Also, do NOT read the surveys out loud in front of everybody in the staff room or other public location.
Our CEA membership has voted to offer 5 furlough days to the district. See the attached PDF for details about how many CEA members voted for each option. The next step is for all unions to meet on Wednesday, March 24, and agree to the number of days. At the next CUSD Board Meeting, they publicly announce (sunshine) that we will talk about this and proceed to negotiations. We plan to have a draft MOU (memorandum of understanding) presented to you at the next Rep Assembly on Monday, March 29, 2010.
